Recycle empty diabetic test strip containers?

Any idea how I could strip my empty containers to use? I hate to throw things away if I can use them. They are very happy Canesten empty movie, but the lid is attached. Ships ideas would be helpful. Thanks I know someone who uses them for their daily pills. You can use them for earrings or change in the toll, or cut a small hole in the ground and use a travel toothbrush holder or a pocket first aid kit and sewing kit. Or, if you are crafting, how they use the old small crafts such as snaps, buttons, jewelry, pearls, or whatever small items you use in crafting? Since they are probably "medical" plastic, probably cooked at low temperatures required to cure polymer clay, but you should check. I'm pretty sure that some of the parts that were covered with mud to survive just fine. (Or you can use air dry clay and other materials.) ) You can get many ideas to cover and decorate to look like containers we use for art with polymer clay in these pages on my website. Http: glassatticcom / / polymer / covering.htm (Click on the subcategory of prescription "plastic" bottles in packaging film, PVC pipes, click miscellaneous plastic parts of something similar to plastic M & M Tubes and dental wire .). various forms of use can also be ALTIOIDS category on this page) This page has a lot of inspiration for decorating small containers as well. "BOH" is, in fact, either plastic or glass small, decorated to give patients with cancer (which began with plastic bottles of heparin used to power the chemotherapy drugs as a way to turn the process into something good and that patients can feel more in control) http://glassattic.com/polymer/BOH.htm HTH, Diane B.

can a doctor stop a prescription for insulin/test strips (diabetic)?

I am a type 1 diabetes, continue for about 20 years is a very good control, some reactions, but nothing too serious my old doctor would ask me to visit about every six months, but if I waited a moment, nothing fancy doctor I have now seems a bit tighter. A while ago I ignored a new deal for a good time to get my pharmacist said, "your prescription has expired, and call the doctor, which is renewed, but said he no longer if I did not do a deal. This seems threatening. so a stranger when I went in, he basically threatened my life. Does this make sense to anyone else? There is a doctor who is good, maybe he just wants to make sure that it works well and. Maybe he does not change the dose, etc. If you do not like him / her to change doctors and find one that meets your requirements. He's just careful and make sure you are healthy, and not to mention all those lawsuits and questions restriction. I I am sure that he is for all parties, it is absolutely not true. But it's his decision. It seems he is worried that if you are not your ordinary contract, and he can verify that you are doing something harmful to your health and that his guilt could not be verified. And he must ensure that your blood will put me, it seems reasonable to me. He has to judge you, and responsible for what he sees happening in your body a bit before prescribing. You may not matter, but your doctor license medical history is at stake. If you do not go to schedule it threatens you, your life, not the doctor. Take responsibility for your own health and body before making such an accusation. Best wishes. Your doctor has every right to do so, and this should be done. If you have not seen, how can the doc to write a script without any knowledge of your current status. Type I diabetes or not, call for these treatments at regular intervals and you need to about every 3 months for HbA1c and an examination of the feet maybe you do not feel like a diabetic big anyway. The doctor's just his job, as he suggests in your best interest for him, your blood sugar in the blood, and medications you use. Even with diabetes is in itself a major risk factor for many other serious diseases like hypertension and peripheral vascular disease. It's the same reason that pill filled up to 12 months. Be happy with your doctor cares about you! It only seems fair to ask the doctor. There's a reason why you need a prescription for such things, precisely controlled, you must be under a doctors care. To say that the doctor is wrong, because he recently started seeing a new doctor who does not know, was not with you and your situation other than your doctor seems fair. If you already have Medicare ads diabetic free supplys AFRE really free. My parents used to provide a Dad'sdiabetic. Also talk to local pharmaceutical Yur months. They always know what drugs comp anise sacrifices. Check with your pharmacist, also talk to your doctor or go to a clinic. I have 24 and the safety of insulin-dependent. I spent $ 600 a month for health care, including doctor visits and medicine. I have no insurance and are ineligible for such benefits. Can anyone give me some advice? If tapes are expensive then try to change a meter with strips cheap flights. Check all doing the same job, then you do not need a monitor at a high price. Ebay also checks on the wings. Also I would contact your local health and social welfare rights in your country to see if the aid programs. You can consult with a diabetes education center if you have one in your area, do not know how you feel, been there and I'm here. You should call your doctor or the next time you go to the doctor to talk about this. Many companies offer assistance to those providing little or no cost to the patient. The physician should have this information. That is what has helped me reduce the cost of my products for diabetics. The doctor must fill out a form for you and send it for review by the company, they may find themselves meters evolution, but it's worth it if it saves you money, or you can get everything for free. Good luck, try e-bay. Like you, I am currently without insurance. I use an Accu-Chek Compact and I recently bought 18 boxes of test strips for my meter on e-bay for $ 300. It was a box bargain.considering costs about $ 53. I have scratches and I'm happy. EMT.

Does anyone know where to get Diabetic One Touch Test Strips for free?

Some clinics test strips for the mother church of the poor who need them. But other than that or if your doctor gives you some, is how the company makes money. Dan glucose meter free, but you pay more than $ 1/test band for use. You can check with several churches and groups like the Army Hello. They can help if you can pay for themselves. Beyond that, however, I'm not sure that they are usually free. If you have good insurance can help cover expenses. I know that some HMOs pay the full cost of the bands. LifeScan contact the company directly: https: / / www.lifescan.com/forms/feedback/ all medical societies offer programs in which certain medical supplies are provided free of charge to some patients who meet certain socio-economic criteria. Contact LifeScan company and see if you are eligible to receive free testing strips.

Now I have a small script and band plays is $ 35 (about 16 days)! I have to try three times a day, and I have to choose insurance blue! They're all alike. Check the county hospital or clinic near you. hospitals in the county programs for uninsured. Once you learn how your body reacts to certain foods, it is not necessary to prove both. Uh, I have been a type 1 diabetic for over 53 years, the result of the test three times per day. My test strips is / was about 10 cents each. Reli-On, definitely! The sensor itself is about ten dollars and you can get a box of 20 strips of about 9 or $ 10 Platform Wal-Mart, who have no insurance! The device is not the most reliable on the planet, but does the job. The results are usually quite accurate, while his hands are clean, and the new "The Lancet" every time you test. Hope this helps! I can use the Accu-check. It is very cheap. For 50 strips and $ 12. Have you ever tried a lot on ebay? When I was in Wal-Mart costs about $ 6,000 for 50 tapes and I was able to get as cheap as $ 10.00 for 50 on ebay. I heard that the One-Touch strips are the cheapest. But some stores have counters brand internally and bands that may be cheaper .
